The Secretary of State for Scotland, Alistair Carmichael (Liberal Democrats), will make a two-day visit to the Faroe Islands early next week to meet with the Faroese government and business representatives.
Carmichael will hold talks with the Prime Minister of the Faroe Islands, Kaj Leo Holm Johannesen, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Johan Dahl, the Minister of Fisheries, Jacob Vestergaard, Faroese Telecom, Atlantic Airways and Vagar Airport, among others.
