The Representation of the Faroe Islands in Reykjavík is now also going to cover Greenland as an area of responsibility.
At their meeting in Nuuk last week, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Høgni Hoydal handed a letter to Greenlandic Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Motzfelt, stating that the Reykjavík Representation will be responsible for covering Greenland.
Halla Nolsøe Poulsen, the head of the Representation of the Faroes in Iceland, will be heading both the Icelandic and Greenlandic efforts.
The Representation of the Faroe Islands in Iceland opened in 2007 after being established with the signing of the Hoyvík Free Trade Agreement in 2005.
