“It’s a sad day and our thoughts are with the Ukrainian people. This is not only an an attack on Ukraine, but also on European peace. The Faroe Islands strongly condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The attack is a clear violation of international law, which is meant to maintain justice, security and stability.
The Faroe Islands are part of the West and will comply with actions and sanctions set in motion by the Western allies.”
