This weekend the head of the Faroese Representation in Beijing, Sigmundur Ísfeld, will represent the Faroe Islands at the Arctic Circle Japan Forum in Tokyo, which bears the title “Asia in the Future of the Arctic”.

Sigmundur Ísfeld will be part of the Opening Session tomorrow, where his presentation on behalf of the Faroese Prime Minister will highlight the importance of focusing on the nations and communities of the Arctic and their visions and plans for sustainable economic development.
