The Faroese Government has decided to provide seven million Danish kroner (over one million USD) in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. This amount is equivalent to more than half the total Government budget for development and emergency aid in 2022.
Transferred to the UNCHR
The funding, to be transferred to the UNCHR, will be used to provide food, shelter, medical supplies and psychosocial support for people in Ukraine who have been displaced internally as well as externally in neighboring countries.
